Who is PDX anon?

Good Question, although it may be easier to describe who we are not. The Church of Scientology has tried to push the concept that we are bigots, racists, and pushers of a hate-based propaganda, mainly because we believe the Church of Scientology is a criminal organization. We question the true intentions of the Church of Scientology.

We are you.

We are students, business owners, lawyers, and families. We dare to speak out against the crime, abuse, and fraud that is commonly known as the Church of Scientology. We hide our identity to protect ourselves from litigious harassment and barratry. We have to hide our identities to demand the truth.

Why?

We believe that the Church of Scientology should be held accountable for their actions. It is our intention to make sure that every person is aware of the crimes of scientology as well as the intended benefits they offer. We think they should be honest with this community. Be honest about the cost to you and your family.

The ultimate goals of the Church of Scientology are very clear. A world without criticism, a world without question, a world of obedience. We hope you will research the Church of Scientology and come up with your own answers. We hope you will ask yourself, "Why am I NOT protesting the actions of this criminal organization?"

Today we gathered to protest the Church of Scientology once again. The summer heat reaching high 90's left a few of us wary of what the day may become. The usual suspects gathered around and chanted the chants and fliered the fliers. The heat wasn't bad and it was nice on the shady side of the street. It appears everyone had a good time, although a random crazy did "shoot me dead" with his imaginary pistol. I was not harmed. There were a few newer faces, and some of the same old faces masks.

Bob_Loblaw was nice enough to drop off some ice cream and Popsicles for everyone as well.

Anonimification was nice enough to hand them out to people.

Chas and Brug brought liquids and cold stuff. That was much appreciated by everyone as well. Please make sure to thank them for the fliers, cards, etc.. as well. Tophat bellowed and at one point, I might have even seen him dance. Not really sure.

David Miscavige destroyed Scientology PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, 12 August 2008 20:05

In the best scenario, we would be a hugely funded group of caring individuals that wanted to make sure the voices of the innocent were heard.  Unfortunately, we are not.  We are however, the thousands of internet kids, adults, males, and females, that decided, at one point in time, to leave our collective basements to stare daylight in the face, and laugh and giggle and enjoy the sunny/rainy/ weather on various Saturdays each month.

With this comes the ADHD, the ritalin, the boredom, the lack of enthusiasm, the reality that we face today.  What does that mean?

Nothing.

PDXanons worked hard at making sure that less people walked through the front door at our local scientology org.  In the process we helped stem the flow of future victims, and ultimately stopped a little cash flow.  Scientology's livelihood depends on cash.   We made a dent.

Furthermore, we managed to get a few reporters to write articles about the abuses and crimes that are committed by this organization that calls itself a church.  We have made a difference and we have  made friends with each other.  We created a community.  We created a postive voice in a sea of chaos and confusion.  We accomplished more than scientology ever did.  We open the doors and let the light in, as Jeff would say.

So this weekend we plan another protest across the world.  Our numbers will be less, and our crowd will be smaller.  Our message, however, will be the same.

Scientology is dangerous. Scientology lacks integrity.  Scientology  will ruin your life. Scientology will destroy your relationships.  The list goes on.

This month, a few of us have decided to embrace one common belief.  There is one common truth to the whole situation that stands above the rest. There is one fact that remains to be true.

We care about you.  We care so deeply about you as a person that we are willing to stand in the heat or the rain on a given Saturday to show it.

David Miscavige and his poor management have left Scientology in shambles.  He has raped your wallets, your identities, and your spirit, to be right about one thing.  He has proven time and time again, that only one thing could possibly be true.  He says without a doubt, that it is your fault.  You don't do enough, you don't care enough, and you are not good enough.  If you had done it right, we wouldn't be standing outside your orgs all over the world.

You know deep down in your soul, that SOMETHING is wrong.  Why the stories about David Miscavige beating people?  Why are so many people leaving?  What happened?  Where are all the clears, and the answers, and the wins?  While every attempt was made to be the best people you could possibly be, you are left to believe that it is all your fault?

It is not your fault.  You are not wrong.  You have a voice, a choice, and it is time you used it.

David, we blame him.  He will be held accountable somehow, someday.  He has brought this on himself, he has ruined Scientology for the rest of the wonderful people who only wanted to help each other.  He has abused people physically, mentally, and financially.

He can turn this into a positive though.  He is great at ruining people's lives.  Actually, he is the best.  Congratulations. Now that is a win.

The people around David Miscavage are starting to wonder how crazy he actually is.  They are beginning to wonder if it is time to offload him.  For the greater good, of course.  He is ruining it for the rest.  He is so out ethics, He has attracted the ire of the entire internet.  Do us all a favor.  Turn yourself in.

He should quit ruining these people's lives and act like a human being.  He should look closely and decide if this is what he wants his legacy to be.

Also remember that the next person he abuses, may be one of us.  He should think long and hard, the next person he saves may just be himself.

We are watching him. He is not above the law, and he will be held accountable.

If you have any doubt, whatsoever, about your involvement with Scientology, contact us because we care.  Stop listening to the lies, and start listening to your heart.   You know SOMETHING IS WRONG.  STOP FEARING THE TRUTH.  BE FREE.

Portland Mercury Article PDF Print E-mail

Finally someone puts forth an effort to listen and research and do some due diligence before writing an article about the COS.  Thank you.  All we have ever wanted was to make sure people were given the information they needed to make an informed decision about Scientology, the religion, the business, and the secrets.

Matt Davis wrote an intersting article and seems to have covered Jeff's Story fairly well.

To all the Anons who have particpated in the daily upkeep and drama that is our little slice of fun, thanks.  This never would have happened if you hadn't shown up Saturday after Saturday.  So Thank you too.  We have made a difference.  we effected a change and we achieved results.

Scientology... Why must you lie? PDF Print E-mail

In the greater scheme of things, it would make more sense to be honest. Libel & Slander are hardly the attributes of a peace loving, community service. Maybe I misunderstood a word or two. Either way, here it is, in all of its glory. Once again, The lovely Rev. Gwen Barnard of (Ritalin kids fame) has stated that anonymous is responsible for a broken window in January. Police reports still haven't been seen and no proof of a broken window ever produced. Furthermore, to believe that protestors with no history of violence or assault are behind a broken window, smells of convenience.

It is unfortunate that a group that claims to be so wonderful and great for the city, uses such underhanded tactics as this. Heck, even the food drive is a joke. They only do that on the day we protest. The rest of the time they are giving away free stress-tests at Lloyd Center Mall. Free like free drugs. It is the hook that gets you, not the fishing pole. So while they complain about the harassment and say we are denying them their right to freedom, I will continue to say, you are full of crap. Quit abusing people, quit manipulating the facts, and for the love of L Ron Hubbard, quit taking advantage of people who are just looking for hope. Your hope is empty and meaningless. The people you have cheated are coming out to tell the truth. It's time to be clear, don't you think?

02: AGAINST ALL ODDS PDF Print E-mail

02: AGAINST ALL ODDS

We also have a history of contrarianism: from the American Revolution to the civil rights movement, America has celebrated the struggle of the underdog.  While our twin freedoms of speech and religion have not always been perfectly respected or exercised, history does seem to eventually favor those who are willing to "speak truth to power."

It is certainly true that Hubbard held radical views which have since been adopted by his followers, but a radical view isn't necessarily a wrong one (I'll spare you the list of great thinkers who had once unpopular but now universally accepted ideas).  If you use your critical thinking skills — even a little — you probably have at least one minority opinion.  Does it seem less true because most people disagree with you?

Here's an example I believe most readers will understand: members of Anonymous, at the beginning of their campaign, encountered a public that was either ignorant or sympathetic due to Scientology's adoption of the word "church."

Anyone who has ever watched a sports movie recognizes the natural sympathy that the Plucky Davids inspire as they go up against the Arrogant Goliaths.  Hubbard himself perceptively noted that it is the nature of man to see himself on the cross; studies seem to indicate that this tendency is innate, although more research is required.

Hubbard's staunch opposition to the traditions of psychology, psychiatry, politics, pharmacology, religion, biology, engineering, sociology, and common sense may seem like a reason for rejection to the uninitiated.

But to a Scientologist, the uniqueness of these beliefs only inspires a more zealous defense.
